直流参考电压(UnmA)及在0.75UnmA泄漏电流测量的被试品是避雷器。
在氧化锌避雷器的伏安特性曲线上,1mA参考电压和0.75倍该电压下的泄漏电流其实反映的是特性曲线拐点的位置,也是确定避雷器特性的两个重要参数,通过这两个参数可以直接反映出避雷器是否劣化和受潮。下图是金属氧化物避雷器的伏安特性曲线。
正常使用的工作状态是在A点以下低电场,氧化锌晶粒中的自由电子由于电场低,等不到足够的势能越过晶介层界面薄膜的势叠,自由电子主要以热电子的形式活动,其伏安特性对温度的依赖性很大。
在c段,电子获得热能足以突破最全面势叠而导通电流,氧化锌晶粒的电阻系数在此段内起支配性地位,电阻元件的非线性变坏,伏安特性曲线开始上扬。
在d点右边,电压与电流成比例。

电压等级110kV及以下避雷器一般为单节,220k避雷器一般为两节,500kV避雷器一般为三节,1000kV避雷器一般为5节。根据避雷器串联叠装结构,分常规试验接线(图1)、不拆高压引线试验接线(图2图3)两种试验接线方法。其中避雷器一般为单节结构,其接线方式参考图1所示。

两节及以上串联结构避雷器可采用不拆高压引线试验,典型接线图(图2图3)中直流高压输出端串接微安表(读数记为IX),低压端直接接微安表或串接限流电阻后接微安表(读数记为I1)接地。
泄漏电流测试线应使用屏蔽线,测试线与避雷器夹角应尽量大。
三节以上结构避雷器可按三节结构设备进行试验,单节结构避雷器应拆除高压引线进行试验。
不拆高压引线试验时,测量限流电阻R的阻值根据实际情况进行调整。
不拆高压引线试验时,下节避雷器泄漏电流值由低压端电流表直接读取,其他位置避雷器泄漏电流值需经高压端、低压端两块电流表进行差值计算取得。
串补平台上各避雷器距离较近,且避雷器与其他设备(如电容器组)距离较近,接线时应充分考虑绝缘措施,防止加压线或避雷器高压端对邻近设备放电。
试验结束断开电源后,应对被试避雷器近设备及加压线进行充分放电。
1 金属氧化物避雷器直流参考电压UnmA初值差不超过±5%且不低于GB11032规定数值(注意值)和出厂技术要求(GB11032规定数值见附录B)。
2 0.75UnmA泄漏电流初值差≤30%或≤50μA(多柱并联和额定电压216kV以上的避雷器泄漏电流由制造厂和用户协商规定)。
3 测试数据超标时应考虑被试品表面污秽、环境湿度等因素,必要时可对被试品表面进行清洁或干燥处理,在外绝缘表面靠加压端处或靠近被试避雷器接地的部位装设屏蔽环后重新测量。
